Police hosed down protesters marking eight years since the killing of Armenian-Turkish journalist Hrant Dink in Ankara on Monday. Officers used water cannon and pepper spray to disperse the crowd. Twenty people were arrested at the rally. A major memorial rally gathered thousands in Istanbul the same day with no arrests reported.

Dink was shot dead outside his newspaper's office in Sisli, Istanbul on January 19, 2007.
