The Eiffel Tower's lights were dimmed for five minutes to pay tribute to the victims of the Charlie Hebdo attack at 20.00 local time (19.00 GMT) in Paris on Thursday. The administration set up warning messages at the bottom of the tower to warn visitors of the event, which was organized by the mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo, to protest against terror attacks.
