Kentucky Senator Rand Paul was “speaking for the majority of Americans” when he filibustered the re-authorization of the Patriot Act on Wednesday, according to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. Answering questions in a Reddit AMA, the exiled former spy justified his comments by citing a poll from the American Civil Liberties Union showing that 60 percent of citizens want meaningful reforms to the controversial post-9/11 law.
