Baltimore residents reach breaking point; march against police brutality

Baltimore locals are protesting the police department’s inactivity in investigating a growing list of misconduct and abuse claims against its citizens. The unrest has grown following the mysterious death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray in police custody. While six police officers have been suspended, residents still have questions. March2Justice protesters arrive in DC from NYC after 9-day trek

Thousands of protestors descended on the West Lawn of the US Capitol Building in support of the “March2Justice” demonstration after a nine-day walk from Staten Island to DC. They oppose mass incarceration and police brutality against black Americans. Manuel Rapalo has more from the protests.
