Obama to keep 9,800 troops in Afghanistan through 2015

US President Barack Obama has promised nearly 10,000 troops will remain in Afghanistan through 2015, though America's combat role has officially ended in the country. The vow was made during Afghan President Ashraf Ghani’s visit to the White House on Tuesday. 150 killed in Germanwings crash in French Alps

Search and investigation crews are on-site in the French Alps, attempting to recover as much information as they can about the Airbus A320 that crashed on Tuesday. The plane was carrying 150 passengers, including 16 German students. RT’s Peter Oliver has more from Berlin on how the international community has responded to the tragedy.
