Video proves police assaulted 17yo, charges against teen dropped

Enrique Del Rosario from Brooklyn, NY is no longer facing charges of assaulting police during the Puerto Rican Day Parade in June, thanks to video footage showing that officers were the ones instigating attacks against him and others at the event. RT’s Ben Swann talks to Dennis Flores, founder of El Grito Sunset Park, about how the video saved the 17-year-old from serving jail time and what the group is doing to hold NYPD officers accountable.

Kerry, Carter, Dempsey aim to convince Congress to allow military force against ISIS

US Secretary of State John Kerry, joined by Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin Dempsey and Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, took to the Hill on Wednesday to urge members of Congress to begin limited military campaigns against the Islamic State. The congressional hearing was fraught with tension and resistance, with objections voiced from senators and demonstrators.
