Hundreds turned out in New York City’s Washington Square Park on Saturday to defend the freedom of speech and show support with the people of France. A vigil for the victims of last week’s terrorist attacks that left over a dozen dead, the attendees gathered in the same spot where protesters were demonstrating in nationwide Black Lives Matter demonstrations just weeks ago. RT’s Alexey Yaroshevsky has more from New York.

After multiple delays and launch cancellations, SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket is in orbit and docked to the International Space Station. The craft is providing much needed supplies to the ISS, which hasn’t be re-stocked since before the catastrophic launch of an Antares rocket in October. RT’s Ameera David was in Cape Canaveral to witness the launch.
