A bill imposing further restrictions on abortion will be one of the first pieces of legislation considered in the new Congress, to the outrage of many pro-choice individuals. The draft law’s author claims fetuses can feel pain after 20 weeks and the practice should therefore be banned, but many feel this is just an attempt to undermine Roe V. Wade, which most of the country supports. Terry O’Neill, president of the National Organization for Women, explains to RT’s Ben Swann.
