As the public celebrates Veterans Day, President Barack Obama’s administration is preparing to double the number of ground forces in Iraq. The recently announced plan to send more soldiers to fight the Islamic State is endorsed by Pentagon officials, and contradicts earlier statements by Obama and other leaders who at the beginning of the anti-ISIS military campaign promised there would be “no boots on the ground.” Doctoral researcher Jake Diliberto joins RT’s Ameera David to discuss.

Ferguson, MO officials are preparing for “all worst-case scenarios” that may result from a grand jury’s upcoming decision. RT’s Manuel Rapalo is on the ground in Ferguson with more details.
