Ferguson, MO police on Monday arrested Dr. Cornel West and several religious leaders participating in a march to bring awareness to the widespread nature of police shootings. After a weekend of protests throughout the St. Louis area, the group that included West faced off with riot gear clad law enforcement officers in front of the Ferguson Police Department. RT’s Lindsay France is on the ground and has more details on the marches and arrests.

Dropbox, Facebook and Google are a few of the biggest threats to individuals’ privacy, Edward Snowden warned at a forum this weekend. Advising consumers to only use encrypted services that promise to not share data with the government or other corporations, the whistleblower gave some quick tips on how to protect personal data and ensure privacy.
