Up to 5,000 anti-government demonstrators gathered in the capital city of Abkhazia to demand reforms and the resignation of the government. That's as the partially-recognized republic struggles to find a way out of a political crisis. The Russian government continues to struggle over a largely disputed anti-piracy law. A new amendment suggest entire websites be shutdown if any page contains pirated material. Despite efforts to make Moscow a friendlier destination for tourists, the popular Internet site, Tripadviser, ranks the Russian capital as the worst holiday destination in a recent list.
