Giant wild boar shot dead in Alabama man’s backyard

Giant wild boar shot dead in Alabama man’s backyard

An Alabama taxidermist found his next stuffing project after he shot a massive wild boar in his yard in Sterling Tuesday.

Wade Seago shot the boar three times before the 372kg (820lb) animal was killed.

Seago was alerted to the huge boar’s presence by his frightened daughter.

"I jumped up to see what was going on," he told al.com. "I looked out the back window and saw nothing, so I ran to the front of the house where my daughter was looking out the window. I couldn't believe what I was seeing."

Seago shared a video of the hog after it had been shot on his Facebook page.

The next day Seago took the hog to the Brooks Peanut Company where he weighed it on the drive-thru scales.

Seago told RT he plans on preserving the wild hog.

“I am a full-time taxidermist in Samson, Alabama and I will be mounting the head myself at my Seago’s Taxidermy studio,” he said.
