A plethora of big names have descended on Moscow for the annual Kremlin Cup, Russia’s most prestigious tennis tournament.

The Kremlin Cup marks its 20th anniversary this year. But unlike previous few tournaments, this season's roster does not include many of the top-tiered players from the WTA or the ATP. However, Russian fans will see a lot of up-and-coming and already- established athletes.

The Cup is set to last until October 25. For some top-seeded players, this competition will be a good chance to add some ranking points and participate in this year’s final tournaments.

RT met with the top four seeds of the competition on the first day of the tournament.
