I my self have an old injury in my lower back muscle and I started doing an exercise that was first used by Russian sward fighters from the seventeenth century my self I am very big with 18 inch arms and very big back so I use a very heavy weight (40 kgs sward) and it is the only exercise that breaks me free from all back complaints swing over head back and forth.
