Russia gives US bandy master-class

Russia has continued their winning run at the Bandy World Championships taking place in Moscow. Their latest victims – Team USA – went down 19-5 on Wednesday.

After beating Kazakhstan and Finland with a combined score of 26-6 at the Bandy World Championships in Moscow, hosts Russia also thrashed Norway 12-2 to add to their already impressive goal scoring collection.
Russia has encountered Finland in the second match of the Bandy World Championship, currently being held in Moscow. Sergey Firsov's men hardly broke a sweat to beat Finland, 12-4.
All the bandy-playing nations of the world have gathered in Moscow for the 30th World Championship, with Russia scoring 14 goals to entertain the home fans in an opener against Kazakhstan.
January 8 is the day of a truly Russian game – bandy. To mark the occasion an all-star bandy match has taken place on Moscow’s Red Square, where Dynamo Moscow took on a rest-of-the-world team.
Cross-country skier Justyna Kovalczyk has won Poland’s first Olympic gold, finishing first in the women’s 30 kilometer mass start classic and denying Norway’s Marit Bjorgen her 4th Vancouver gold.

I am sure Russia will get theirs in the Olympics. If the summer oplympics were any indication of whats to come this winter, Russia got slaughtered then and Im sure they will this winter. The US is just holding out until then.
