A group of Russian bikers have arrived in Tskhinval after retracing the treads of the Russian military into this embattled region one year ago.

They've been riding between Moscow and South Ossetia to pay tribute to those who died in the war in the Caucasus.

The bikers have traveled through remote mountainous villages and have been providing the local people with displays of the loud machines. They have also been taking part in the remembrance services being held in churches around the capital city.
