Reigning Olympic ice hockey champions Sweden have successfully kicked off the defense of their Olympic crown, though not to the same extent as Canadian and Russian quest for gold.
With the Winter Olympics not nearly being as popular as the Summer Olympics, not many people know "who to watch for" when each day comes up. I mean, I like to know before events start who is the favorite in the Men's League or Woman's Aerial Ski Jumping. It's tough. I mean, yeah you know the hockey players, and people like Shaun White due to the X-Games, and former medalists from past games... but who are the up and comers to watch for?
