Russian hockey star Alexandr Ovechkin has expressed his regret after pushing a female fan and breaking the camera of a journalist who was trying to interview him.
The incident took place in a bar in central Vancouver last Thursday, the day after Russia was swept off the ice by a rampant Canada, losing 7-3 to the Olympic hosts in the quarterfinals of the highly anticipated hockey tournament.
On Tuesday, while answering questions from the media, Ovechkin said he was upset by the incident. He added that he wanted to forget about what had happened, and move on.
The Russian hockey star also said he couldn't explain his team losing to Canada, but that he would not be focusing on the failure.

Maybe Medvedev should decree that Ovechkin shall stay in Russia to "Tune-Up" the next Russian Olympic Men's hockey team for Sochi. It seems that Ovechkin's talent is more suited for brow-beating hockey players into shape than for his talent with the ladies.
