World Ice Hockey champions Russia have finished top of their group in this year’s competition thanks to a 4-2 win over hosts Switzerland.
But it was far from easy against a Swiss side, whose coach Ralf Kruger had promised his side would be giving their all.
A fantastic interception from Aleksey Morozov put Russia 3-2 ahead. While an empty-net goal in the last ten seconds sealed the win that sees Russia finish top of Group B.
In Ice Hockey, Canada has taken the better of 2002 World Champions Slovakia.
Jason Spezza scored twice as the Maple Leafs scored five power-play goals to win 7-3. Derek Roy, Shane Doan, Shea Webber, Ian White and Steven Stamkos also scored for the Canadians.
Canada progresses from Group A with a 100% success rate.
Also in Group A, Belarus beat Hungary 3-1.
