Dinamo Moscow has leveled their best of seven series against AK Bars Kazan in the semi-final of the KHL playoffs, achieving a 3-2 overtime victory in game two on away ice.

It took Dinamo just 1 minute and 25 seconds to grab the lead at Tatneft arena in the capital of Tatarstan. Swede Mattias Weinhandl upset AK Bars Finish goalkeeper, Fredrik Norrena.

And Konstatin Kasyanchuk doubled Muscovites lead with seconds before the break, 2-0, putting the hosts, who were easy 4-1 winners in the opener of the series, in a very difficult situation.

And another Swedish player saw his name on the scoreboard in the second period. Tony Martensson, who was assisted by local stars Aleksey Morozov and Ilya Nikulin, started the Snow Leopards comeback.

The host leveled the score in the third twenty minutes. Danis Zaripov made it 2-2 and took the game to overtime.

But despite a heroic effort from AK Bars it was the Muscovites, who triumphed in the end.

The game was stopped after an effort from Mattias Weinhandl, who scored his second of the night and gave Dinamo a 3-2 win.

The score in the series, which is now moving to the Russian capital with games scheduled on March 22 and 23, is 1-1.
