Russia’s hockey players will not be afraid of playing hosts Canada on the Vancouver ice during the Olympics as they know how to defeat such a strong opponent, national team coach Vyacheslav Bykov told RT.

I think that couch mya have made a tactical error in publicly announcing that his goal is to beat Canada for the Gold Metal game final for nothing motivates Canadians than beating the Russians in a game hockey -and since this is going to be in Vancouver the Canadian team is expected to win the Gold Metal, nothing short of that and the singing of Oh Canada will do for millions of Canadians. Perhaps the couch knows this and is playing a psychological trick on the Canadians. This could back fire if the Canadians play this as another game rather than one in which the very national identity of Canada is at stake. We will see the result of this scenario soon enough but who ever wins the gold metal in Vancouver it will be a great game and the spectators will enjoy the wonderful beautiful Vancouver and great and friendly Canadian hospitality.
