Premier League side Terek have accepted the resignation of head coach Vycheslav Grozny. The Ukrainian specialist blamed health reasons for his decision to step down.
During the current season, Grozny several times felt unwell during the games, and even missed a game due to heart problems.
He quit after 15 months in charge.
"Why did I decide to quit now? My contract expires in December. We are currently in the middle of the table and nothing can be changed from the strategic point of view,” said Grozny.
During his tenure, the Chechen outfit finished tenth in the league last season. It is their highest achievement in the Russian top flight to date.
The 53-year-old Grozny will be replaced by the club's youth coach Shakhin Diniev.
Terek sit ninth in the table with only five games to go.
