Tottenham Hotspur coach, Harry Redknapp, has decided to take care of a donkey called Anapka, from the Southern Russian city of Krasnodar.
The animal became famous after a group of locals sent her parasailing over the Sea of Azov.
"I am sickened by the actions of the scumbag who treated Anapka so badly. If I had my way, I'd throw the idiot in prison. He should be prosecuted for what he's done,” Redknapp told The Sun newspaper.
The 63-year-old confessed that he came close to tears as he read about Anapka's torment, and now he’s going to put to her in a shelter, which he plans to open in the near future.
"I'd happily find her a place to live comfortably," he added.
Anapka would become Redknapp’s second Russian purchase, as he also signed striker Roman Pavlyuchenko from Spartak Moscow in 2008.
