Russia’s Premier League side Dynamo Moscow has agreed on the transfer of Ukrainian international Andrey Voronin from Liverpool, the English team’s website reports.
The sum of the transfer is €2 million, and the striker and the Russian Premier League side have already settled the terms of the contract. Voronin will stay with Dymano for three years.
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez says he is selling Voronin, who was on loan at Hertha Berlin last season (11 goals in 20 games), because the Ukrainian cannot be guaranteed regular action with the club.
The 30-year-old played just eight matches in the current season, failing to score a single goal.
The striker arrived at Anfield back in 2007 from German side Bayer Leverkusen. He scored five goals in 32 games for the English team.
The player also has 61 caps and six goals for his country.
The Reds have also confirmed the transfer of Andrea Dossena to Napoli for a fee of €4.25 million.
