The Russian national squad has retained the World Bandy Championship after beating Sweden 6-1 in the final in Moscow. Bandy or “Russian hockey” is played on ice not with a puck but with a ball.

Dinamo Moscow have won the European Champions Cup in bandy, or Russian hockey as it is known worldwide. The blue-and-whites overcame Swedish side Vesteros 6-1 on aggregate.
