The president of the Russian Olympic Committee has turned his hand to curling this weekend to boost interest in the sport as the country searches for talent, ahead of the next Winter Olympics in Sochi.
I do not think that Canadians will easily change their citizenship to become Russians in order to win curling metals for Russia. Russia will have to be patient when it comes to winning metals in curling. More important thing is that Canadians and other nations with advanced expert knowledge in winter sports help Russia. This is one of the aspects of modernisation project in which Canada and Russian can work together.
