WBC heavyweight boxing champion, Vitali Klitschko, has promised to be merciful in his upcoming bout against British challenger, Dereck Chisora.

The two held a joint media conference in the German city of Munich, where they will slog it out for the Ukrainian’s belt, on February 18.

Dr Iron Fist was a little wary of the outcome, but was still in a good enough mood to crack a few jokes.

“As a doctor I don’t want to send you to hospital,”
Klitschko said. “I don’t want to wish that, but that it’ll be a clean, good fight. You tell me I like hitting with a jab – I’ll knock you out with my right hand.”

At 40, Vitaly is 13 years older than his British opponent, but boasts a formidable record of 40 knock-out wins out of a total of 43, with just two defeats.

Meanwhile, Chisora has lost two of his three fights this year.
