Riga-ining trust? Ft. Nils Usakovs, Mayor of Riga

Tensions between Russia and Europe over Ukraine have re-ignited decades-old fears and divisions between the people of the Baltic states. But despite growing anti-Russian sentiment in the region, Latvians have largely continued to coexist peacefully with their sizeable Russian-speaking minority. Can regional trade and cooperation form the building blocks of lasting reconciliation, and how can the nation move forward without tripping over its past?
