​Aiming for the stars

The Starmus Festival brings together some of the top names in science in an effort to popularise scientific inquiry. But why does science even need promoting? With a disinterested public, austerity economics and decision-makers all too willing to cut funding, how can scientists ensure their work is understood and appreciated? Oksana is joined by Dr Garik Israelian, an astrophysicist and founder of the Starmus Festival, to explore these issues.
