Federal judge supports ending mass surveillance

US District Judge Richard Leon is fighting back against the National Security Agency and supports cases against the agency’s bulk snooping. The federal judge will schedule another hearing as early as next week, before the bulk collection program expires on November 29.

USDA tries to stop egg competitor Hampton Creek

The US Department of Agriculture joined with the agency-appointed American Egg Board to create a two-year campaign to take down the food start up Hampton Creek, responsible for vegan alternatives like Just Mayo and Just Scramble, because they are the biggest competitor in the egg industry.
