Labour leadership, refugee crisis & water wars (E247)

Tony Blair’s former home secretary, Charles Clarke, broadcaster and former Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik and environmental campaigner Kate Rothschild join Afshin in the first show of the new season.

Charles Clarke called Jeremy Corbyn a “nutter candidate”. We speak to him about what makes a good Labour leader. Lembit Opik gives his take on Rebekah Brooks returning to the Murdoch fold and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, and Kate Rothschild discusses her recent trip to Gaza as she campaigns for a solution to the water crisis.
