This Ukrainian decision is a tremendous disappointment to America and NATO since all along they had their eye on injecting their influence into Ukraine. Thank God that Ukraine has a leader that can not be bought with American dollars and "goodies".

The United States is merely deterred, but not defeated. Now it will change tactics to subvert the Ukraine by "humanitarian aid", international business deals, military cooperation, media propaganda, and, above all, debt. All methods will exploit and abuse the "freedom" and "democracy" that Ukraine has gained since 1991. Some tactics will play Eastern Ukraine against Western Ukraine as regional divisions in ethnicity, religion and tribes are used to destabilize territories all over the world to assist the Imperial Power's mad rush to Full Spectrum Dominance by 2012. Ukrainians beware: you have never been so threatened!

A welcomed step for Ukraine. Now if Greece and Turkey can be won away from NATO!

Poor NATO's Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. He is so besides himself that Ukraine does not want to join his beloved NATO. Rasmussen just can't understand such independence from a former member of the USSR. The Balts, to the contrary, fell over one another as they ran to NATO. Perhaps, Saakashvili can lend Rasmussen one of his ties to chew on.

"The last three months with Yanukovich have been rather turbulent for Ukraine...". This is because the guy is trying to find a solution to bring the country back from those ruins which Washington manipulated and driven charlatans (Yushchenko and Tymoshenko) put it in. This new Ukrainian leadership looks sober and rational. I am glad for Ukrainians. At least, they now have chance to become normal and respected country. Just stay away as far as possible from Yankees.
