US hip-hop star Wyclef Jean has formally entered the presidential race in Haiti.

Born on the island, he has been actively involved in reconstruction efforts after a deadly earthquake devastated the Caribbean nation earlier this year.

Lori “The Resident” Harfenist asked people in the Big Apple what they think of celebrities switching from entertainment to politics.
