Actually most of the key Bolshevik leaders were political prisoners were sent to Siberian prison not just Lenin but Stalin, Trotsky and Bela Kun who western governments and foreign organisations lobbied and complained to Tsarist Russia for there release who were exiled and given sanctuary in Europe and the US who sent them back with millions of dollars to direct the so called “revolution” and we know how that turned out. Surprised you did not mention Hitler and Cassius Clay (Mohammed Ali).
