Political scientist Vyacheslav Nikonov spoke with RT on some of the most pressing issues concerning Russia, from Iran’s first nuclear power plant to alleged Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout.
As if you didn't already know we were going to be invading Iran that had been the plan from start. Giving them enriched uranium just gave us the justification to go in and clean there clocks. It's all oil and politics.
@JG: you're clue less. If you're country was under all sort of threat that Iran is you would have built all your facilities and cities under ground. Iran Build them there because they want to keep them safe from US and Israel's madness. what do you care where they want to build their facilities? Do they need your permission for that? Do they also need to tell what's under every roof in Iran? Why are you repeating clinton's nonsenses? Also Iran cooperated with IAEA in possible ways according to NPT, much more than Israel. If zionist media tells you other things and you believe them that's your problem .If you're worrying about world peace take a look at yourself and your greatest ally. Iran's aims are peaceful and they followed that path, if you don't want to accept what they can do? Is it their duty to make happy? They tried it wasn't possible, while Israel is there. Neither you and nor your government have the right to expect such thing from others. Do you really think yo own the world?

It would be nice to believe that Iran's nuclear ambitions are peaceful but if this were the case, they would have had no reasons to obstruct the UN's International Atomic Energy Authority inspections nor to hide several nuclear facilities underground. It is precisely this which has led to the sanctions against Iran - if they had simply followed the IAEA's requirements like all the other NPT signatories, they would not be in this mess. If their aims were peaceful, this would be the obvious path to follow. The alternative would be to withdraw from the NPT and develop their nuclear weapons by themselves, like Israel, India, Pakistan and North Korea. Even the Russian administration has recognised both the reality and the danger of Iran's nuclear ambitions.
