First came polar bears, then tigers, and even a fish. Now Vladimir Putin has made his latest foray into the animal kingdom to mark World Environment Day. Russia’s Premier visited the Elk Island nature reserve in Moscow.
Currently, I have land in the Northwest; near British Colombia. Over here, we call the animals in the video, Moose.
I hope Valdimir Putin makes the stewardship of Russia’s environment his number one concern. Russia, the United States, Canada, and Australia are the few countries that are truly blessed with having all of the resources a country needs to be self-sustaining. By using renewable resources, by preserving the habitat of wildlife, recycling mined resources and restoring damaged areas, Russia will have a rich legacy for all of time to give to its’ citizens and their children. It is this environmental legacy that will guaranty Russia’s social and economic independence.
Several days ago I read a horrible story in one of the on-line Russian newspapers about a baby moose being beaten to death by a group of drunken idiots in Ulyanovsk. The rest of the people on the beach just watched and did nothing but snapped pictures. Can RT please bring the attention to this crime, criminal case was not opened and the killers are not found.!!!!!

RT please post more videos like this!
