This is an outrageous disgrace if it is true. This would be an affront and attack on a persons democratic right to privacy and effectively a destruction of that right under some pretext of a threat which is the greatest scheme of a tyrant if we look back at history.I doubt this is true.Probably some absurd story to grab media attention.

One more step towards communism. Will the people allow this great country to fall into disgrace, do they care? The question needs raised, will you, the American public sacrifice your freedoms and your liberties all in the name of fear and hysteria, promoted by people whom have no wish to protect, but control? Or is it already too late and the brainwashing is completed so that nobody can think for themselves and instead turn towards power hungry socialists to do their thinking for them? Time to stop the tyranny and the attacks on the U.S. Constitution and the freedoms we all used to enjoy. Time to stop feeding the propaganda machine and make our own decisions, and clearly resound our voices to those whom we have elected that we the people have the power, we the people are in charge and if you don't like it, and if you want to live in a place where the government controls all aspects of daily life, leave our country because that's not how it works here!

Just another day in paradise. I grew up in Communism in SE Europe and dealt with many things that made the lives of the average person miserable by standards in the West. For example, one had to fear neighbors informing on them, children were questioed at school regarding parents and relatives. Now this in the land of the FREE, how is that "hope and change" working out for you thus far. I believe the (KGB aka) FSB nowdays would salivate to get Google's search logs and then tie them to unique IP's (can be traced to each household via ISP logs/records). I am/would be surprised that the ACLU let's this happen in the land of the "FREE" ( :) ) although I would not be surprised by anything. The average hard working (no govt. dependent) citizen understands the deficits that the govt. is running and that there is now way in hades that the US will ever run a balanced budget again. It would make sense for the govt. to want to monitor chatter under the broad guise of "anti terrorism" under which anybody can be labeled an "enemy combatant" and be denied their rights. Think about it - warrantless searches, the right to keep you incarcarated for as long as they (some govt entity) want to w/o access to legal counsel (sounds like old SE Europe - no the USA today). Obama can change this with the stroke of a pen but he continues GW's policies. I hope to GOD that I am wrong and that this will change in the coming years and I have been looking for signs of change from the ruling class, meaning for signs of wisdom such as we cannot spend ourselves out of a recession and tha we would start looking at all programs and cutting into them (defense, welfare ....... all programs) to show the world that we are serious about austerity measures (Greece, Portugal, Spain, Italy ...... so on). At this pint in time, it's all lies from the politicians (Would you expect any different?). Again, GOD help us all against these dishonest leaders whose thirst for power and control is legendary.
