I have sympathy with the foot soldiers who go about their business in good faith, and it must be remembered, that the UK military did ask for a legal clarification and were lied to. This set the wheels in motion for the illegal invasion. However, moreover, I think this article would have been far more balanced if it had reported more on the deaths, maiming and suffering inflicted by the UK soldiers on the Iraqi population. Remember, many were brutally killed, maimed or disfigured by the British army. There are many families who lost their loved ones, all due to the callous illegal actions of the British government, playing poodle to its US master. We must neverforget the evil inflicted on the Iraqi people by the coalition of the oil men.
