You trully are, with all respect to you sir, you are mentally deficient. If you believe such things as the ones you express so heartedly, present propper complains, go to the Tv, do something, but words of hate, ignorance and rubbishing have never been heard in an open forum, and are likely to never be heard. You clearly express your right to express with a perfect lack of respect towards others, who dont have to endure hate talk if they dont want to. My respects, and sincerely, shub you "freedom of speech" at thy bottom

I don't believe this is accident.

It could be the work of British intelligence in order do intimidate Argentina over Falklands.

This is their style...

I traveled to Argentina for a ski trip a few years back.  Their train system honestly had me scared the whole time I was riding it.  No surprise that this happened,  Argentina really likes to cut corners to save money, and it really shows with their train system.  And for those who say the UK was involved, I say you should ride their lines yourself, then you might have an understanding, not just blind hatred. Respect to those who lost their lives, and a quick recovery to those who were injured.

1. You can't blame America for every accident in today's world

2. The Nazi regime died during WW2

3. The Fauklands still belong to the UK

4. This was a accident caused by driver error/mechanical failure

2. The Nazi regime died during WW2

Fact: after WW2 the US took most of Hitler's scientists, including those experimenting on propulsion systems, weapons, sociology and psychology.

Fact: few nazist criminals were prosecuted.

Fact: the US is home to many prosecuted tyrants (e.g. Yemen's).

Fact: Israel is behaving nearly as WW2 Germany.

Judging by the picture, the buffer stops seem to have been too rigid and not absorbed enough of the energy of the train, causing the train itself to crumple too much.

There was a similar accident in London a few years back ("Moorgate Disaster") in which it is reckoned that the driver simply failed to stop and approached the end-of-line far too fast, and appeared to show little attempt at slowing the train either. Alas, we shall never know the truth.

In another incident ("Cannon Street") a very low speed impact caused carriages to ride up. After this, an "interlock" system was devised, whereby the buffer ends of carriages engage use a toothed meshing system to prevent one carriage from riding up on top of another.

Very sad for all involved.

My heart goes to all those people who were affected in any extent.

Couldnt this have been avoided ? How is it possible that a train just crashes head on against the concrete wall ?

I'm an argentinian actually living in Italy. Most of these accidents happen because of corruption and mismanagement in my country... Hope this time they do not clean all up by simply blamming the driver.

My most sincere condolences to everyone involved in this tragic accident and their families. All the people anywhere in the world who have a good heart give their condolences  and wish all Argentinians that tragedies like this will never happen again.

One of my best friends here in Britain, Daniel, told me that tragedies like this one are also the result of  "La Decada de la Infamia" (hope my Spanish spelling is correct). He said this is how in Argentina the 1990's are often called. That was the era of president Menem who applied the savage IMF/World Bank "structural adjustments" to Argentina and privatised just everything. My friend said that the privatised railways ended up in the hands of people without scruples who pocket all the profits they make from railways and they simply don't care at all in investing in maintenance or in renewing the railway tracks and carriages, as they expect the Regional or National Government to do this for them. On top of that, he toold me that these bstards receive government subsidies!!! and this money should go towards infrastructure!!! This is something I would recommend Mrs. Fernandez de Kirchner or whoever is in charge to work on as sson as possible, even if he told me that it should be Buenos Aires city government that in the first place should deal with it, as Argentina has got a Federal structure.
Here we go, in Britain we have had Thatcher and Blair and now Cameron, in Argentina they had Menem and his decada de la infamia that my friend says has direct responsabilty for all the troubles that Nestor Kirchner (R.I.P.) first and Mrs. Fernandez now are trying to put a remedy to. And he told me, even with your knowledge of Spanish, don't bother reading the on line Argentinian press, most of it is all in the hands of Menem-friendly people, he said watch Telesur and keep following RT.
