I am totally for stopping of child porn on the internet! It is horrible. It is found even by searching for something innocent such as a .mp3 music. A spam commercial will pop up. It is bad. As for using America as example I really suggest not going the same route as them. Their system has torn society apart. If you want a WITCH hunt and drag net the whole society, go ahead and social engineer the country into a dictatorship. I for one believe if you have children, make sure THEY Don't use the internet!!! If they do, monitor them! It is YOUR! responsibility!!!! If their are little teenagers perusing dating sites, who is at fault? They shouldn't be there in the first place. To trash the internet to protect it from bad parenting is the wrong way to go about things. Actual child rapists, pornagraphers, RAPIST in General, and Human Traffickers need to be punished severly.

You can't "stop child porn" without becoming a police state like America is now. If you don't want to see it, don't see it, period. Nobody is forcing you or your children to see it. Same thing with your childrem. EDUCATE them. If they are having sex or watching porn and you don't like it, then YOU tell them. Don't blame others, don't cry that they were "perverted" or "raped" because you know very well that if you had educated them they would not be doing it. Don't demand that society and police and laws do what YOU are supposed to be doing. Russia suffered enough with one police state (the Nazis). Don't create a WORSE one.

20 years for stealing the life of a child is too little. Victims of abuse can never recover from this heinous crime. If someone is willing to take the life of a child turning them into an emotional zombie, they should be willing to give up their life in return. These are unspeakable crimes being perpetrated on children who have undeveloped brains. They never recover from horrors. Who invented this magic 20 year number? You can never make up this violation to a child once his/her life is emotionally destroyed.

I agree with Ludmila.  As for Clamdip's "20 years for stealing the life of a child", I consider this to be too emotional and a gross exaggeration.  Murder is stealing life, and punishments need a sense of proportion.

I was abused myself, but I've got over it; I don't feel ny life has been stolen!  I don't wish to be seen as a perpetual victim.  I'm certainly no "emotional zombie" and find the term, insulting. It's all a matter of having positive attitudes.  'Counselling' and authorities in US and UK don't encourage this.  I hope Russia never becomes a slave to the ideologies of the US/UK 'child abuse industry' whose priorities are now money and power, rather than true child protection.
