It is unbelievable - what is our country coming to - educators allowing such things to go on. What happened to discipline, telling your parents, getting them involved, expelling students. We do not stress education, when I was going to school, a C was failing, now it is passing grade. Our standards are too low. We have the technology to create fine minds, sure, the classes are overcrowded, teachers are not paid enough - in all the states (mine included) the first budget cuts are from education - we should have year around school where warranted - sure the students deserve a vacation, how about three weeks, different times in the year. Learning is such an exciting experience - teach them to read - the entire newspaper - most words they will need are in the paper.
