A 14-year-old boy killed his sleeping father with a sledgehammer after his parents told him not to play a computer game overnight and took away the keyboard.
Are you kidding:? The first comment about that story is about a misused word? How about the part where some kid justified smashing his father's head with a sledgehammer? 10 years in jail?! You can't fix that type of crazy.
There is not respect for parents in this"modern"times...This boy is for sure sick-he shall be locked in some mental institucion forever! I am chocked by this story! My condolences to family...Thanke you!

Not only did the boy need psychiatric help but the authorities as well .... 10 years? The boy should have killed both his parents, once he get 20 years maybe he learn his lesson? These people are LOST.
Ok, that is crazy. that boy has psychological problems obviously. He needs life in prison. BUT there is no need to blame this on video games. If you are smart enough, a game isn't going to influence you enough to kill your parents.
So let's ban all violent videogames from being purchased by those under the age of 30!

you cannot blame this on violent games. and you shouldnt lock him up forever, the demons of a persons mind controlling his reaction is he was around violence from a person then thats where he gets it from not video games. 10 years is rough enough for a 14 year old maybe in that time he will be corrected.
