Tea production in Russia is on the rise in the south of the country, with unique blends cultivated from Chinese plants brought to the region more than a century ago.
Tea will grow in parts of California, but it never became a commercial crop because it was too labor intensive and therefore expensive. That harvesting machine looks intriguing, but I'm not sure it would be enough to lower California labor costs sufficiently to make tea profitable here. Great idea - I wish them success and will look for a website.
