German prosecutors have dropped all charges of illegally trafficking nuclear materials against Dmitry Kovtun, who was linked to the murder of former Russian security officer Aleksander Litvinenko in London in 2006.

I personally think that in our competitive world - (economic situation and buisnesses is gone "all over the place" and collapsed) politicians often use the nasty ways to get their competetors countries out of competition by pushing their media to create images which would help them to achive that. Case with Litvinenko is one of the way of showing to the world that Russian military intellegence are usseless and corrapted. In fact - it is not true. Russia for long time was surviving the difficult situation of the cold war time, had build strong connections with the closest countries and managed to sustain peacefull environment in the world by providing conterbalance to America, England and other western countries over the period of the cold war.
