But there are many other Pollards in Russia, the deal is permanent residency of US/Canada in return, for these traitors.

I think this would have been less shameful if this spy was an American trying to secure Russian secrets for his country but here we have Russian man spying for a foreign country against his own country. Send him to hard labour and deport him when is 13 years in prison is over. He deserves no mercy . In fact he should have been sentenced to life behind bars.

Treason is the dirtiest of all possible crimes; the most severe punishment should be reserved ONLY for this crime. Whereas a mass murderer killes 50 or a hundred people, this man sold the lives of 140 million Russians.. - liniency is the last thing he should receive.

There should be no mercy given to this traitor.  America and her Imperialism should be crushed and crushed hard.  Anyone who sells out his Country should not be allowed to remain free.  A Country which condones the killing of children and innocent civilians and which thrives on lies upon lies should be dealt with accordingly.  Its policies and laws

are there for their benefit and not for the general well being of the world.

They should’ve smartly framed him instead as a double agent selling American secrets to the Russians too, and than hand him over to the Americans to experience first hand their “mercy.”

Too Bad this Colonel didn't act as a double-agent for Russia, he must have been a Completely deracinated, Liberalised Cultural- Marxist C*nt.

He should be sentenced to death February 10, 2012, 17:26 quote

He is the worst kind of criminal. Russia is 20 years ahead of the world in such technology and this criminal has sold that to the US.

Treason of that kind must be punished with the electric chair.  It is intolerable that he is going to be there for 13 years enjoying full board

This is so typical of America sending CIA Operatives to steal secrets from Russia's highly advanced Military. It has however always been the case that America doesn't want anyone countries to be able to defend themselves from greedy U.S. President's who obviously want to take over the world and create more U.S. State's and call The World Planet America lol

Michael Thomas O'Flaherty If the Russians wants to prevent this type damaging breach of national security, than 13 years behind bars for the behind convicted for this high treason against the motherland is not enough- this guy should stay behind bars in hard labour for the rest of his life- and that is only if he cooperates fully and if he refuses to reveal everything he deserve the death by firing for the dirty dog he is.

This sentence is a horrible travesty of justice.  The information he sold to the US wasn't really that valuable.  This person is a good engineer who should be back working productively in the space program.

What is this rubbish? A traitor deserves a bullet in the back of the head. A few of these examples and you'll see how the well of willing traitors decreases.

New World Order February 10, 2012, 19:57 quote

Mr. Hand If what this traitor of his motherland for money was not that valuable why was the U.S willing to purchase it? This sentence must be appealed because it does not fit the crime of treason against this man’ motherland- This guy must never see a day of freedom for the rest of his life.
