Southern Russia: 3 die in highway explosion

Three people have been killed in the Samara region of southern Russia after a gas canister exploded in a mini van on a highway. The explosion took place when the van crashed into a truck performing road works.
Witnesses report that 14 people were in the mini van at the time of the accident. Injured have been taken to local hospitals.
