I was thinking of visiting that area, now there is NO way I will give them my tourist dollars. What kind of idiots would do such a thing? I agree lock them up and throw away the key.

These people are about to be fined!!! Also,These animal organizations are getting very smart. There is a new pro-animal site geared towards the press--totally free--that is massively distributing their pro-animal video. The video is showing up on MTV, NBC, etc. A CNN story that just aired is at http://freeanimalvideo.org/about

I hope RT does a follow up story on how this donkey is doing after such a horrifying experience. I hope they will find out who owns this donkey and why the owner permitted such a thing. I hope the donkey will be taken into custody and given an appropriate foster home. I want the perpetrators to be prosecuted but my immediate concern is HOW IS THE DONKEY. The story SAYS he is okay, that he survived, but often equines have negative effects days after the incident. I saw a video on this site of a donkey walking on the street.....was this a generic donkey or was this the actual poor thing who was so tortured with a parasail ride? I'm all the way across the ocean in flipping Ohio and can't even sleep worrying about this donkey. Can someone track him down, film him and post it on this site? I want to be assured he is cared for and alive. He certainly needs an equine therapist, psychiatrist or some follow up help to soothe his hyseria. This is just ghastly, horrible.

Not pleasant but should we now look at people who have taken dogs scuba diving / hang gliding etc? Not condoning this but there is so much other tragedy in this world that people could get on their soapboxes about...

What some people will do for money and business. That donkey has more brians, class and compassion than those businessmen. Yes, it was in a Washington newspaper, credited to the "Kremlin based Russia Today news channel". Oh, send that donkey to me. He could be my pet!

I do not understand why we have such sick, horrid people living in this world, to do this to a poor animal that has not done anybody any harm whatsoever. They should go to jail and be tortured for what they did. This story has had me in tears for days, awake at night and all I can think about is how the donkey is. I've searched online for hours and there is no positive update and its so upsetting having to see the pictures all the time. I've today made contact with the paper who featured the story and hope they can give a positive respose soon.
