Palestinian divisions in Gaza are offering a way in for Iran, which is bringing fears in the region over the motives of the dominant Shia power, in an area which is traditionally Sunni Muslim.
The totalitarian Arab regimes(the moderate Arab states for the West) fear democracy. There is an obvious difference between the two. In modern world, you can understand why they support a leader like Sayyed Nasrullah and prefer to overthrow those puppet kings(such as Reza Shah Pahlavi many of whose offspirng currently live in the US ). If Iraqis were united in 1991, Iraq today will be like or better than Iran. They are flourishing in Iran or Iraq or areas around boundaries of Arab empires throughout Islamic history, because they have been persecuted by rulers of Arab empires.
