Imperial wars resettled whole tribes to new countries. These tribes were not cultivate by living in socialism and mixing up with others. People who according to tribal laws marry cousin did not merge nor will merge with domestic population. Countries where tribes live are foreign to them. One can hardly force them to use laws which do not make sense in their social structure nor cover issues seeing as importane to them. Certainly, socialism could not change all habits this is why Russia has troubles. The age of Americanisation /Globalisation is the age of retrieve ethnic and religious bonds. West identifies itself with USA. The same process occurs on other sides: ethnicities search after strong icon in own cultural and religious realm to follow it, obey and submit itself.

Thank you RT for this, you are the only channel thats broadcasts to the UK that shows this kind of thing, the rest of the British media make us believe that the Islamic invasion is a good thing.

Ibarruri. It is no easy task for Mankind, overcoming the next biggest challenge after capitalism-religious obscurantism- ! And it is not difficult to see why Britain, Africa, Russia, Asia and indeed the entire capitalist world are suffering from this Scurge; religion is the Opium with which the exploiting classes keep the exploited in check. This role prooved usefull to the west in its anti-Soviet campaign many times, complementing its weapons and vile propaganda deployed against it and its socialist allies. Now i think the Chicken are coming home to roost in Britain .

Shariah law is taking over the UK? Hardly, as even your article shows. Shariah law, like other bits of Islamic culture, pop stars, food etc. will be assimilated into British culture as we keep the best bits, drop the stuff we don't like and society evolves as a result. They're not conquering us, they're becoming part of us, and so are any laws they have which seem like a good idea. Don't fear the dudettes with the headscarves, folks.

Just read the article on Sharia Law in Britain. I am British and proud of it, have travelled widely and find this an affront to the British way of life.  We cant do what we like in their countries so why should this even be considered in England.  I have always been a liberal to live and let live but i think now this is going too far. By all means live in our country but abide by our laws, if they dont like them then it is their choice to go elsewhere or back to their own countries.  We are a Christian country and it is about time our Chrisitian leaders did more to safe guard our beliefs and our way of life. I have lived in a Sharia law country and it is not compatible with what i know to be a free country.

Very concerned.

Shariah law, while having some good points, is dangerous. Give these religious extremists a centimeter and they will take a kilometer. Christians re-discover your faith and stand up for it. Atleast Christianity gives you a choice. Does Islam, yeah do it or die?
