Russian-US ISS Crew back on Earth

Two Russian cosmonauts and an American astronaut made it safely back to Earth on Saturday after a technical glitch in orbit threatened their return.

Notorious Russian spy Anna Chapman came to southern Kazakhstan to say farewell to a Russian – US space mission that left Earth at 3:16 AM [5:16 AM GMT], reported AP.

Chapman took part in a farewell ceremony for Russian cosmonauts Aleksandr Kaleri and Oleg Skripochka and their US colleague Scot Kelly at the Baikonur Russian cosmodrom.

They will spend the next six months as members of Expedition 25 aboard the station.

New navigation, control and data processing systems are also being delivered to the ISS.

The spacecraft is expected to dock with the station in two days.
